We celebrated New Years Eve day on our Cruise Ship. The Stewards were a friendly bunch, and they made some party creatures. The "ape" in the middle is made from towels and greeted the Elizabeth and Victoria when they returned from the party.
The view along the Nile was beautiful as the sun set on the last day of 2002. Notice the thin strip of green vegetation along the shore. The life giving waters of the Nile support most of the local agriculture.
